Altera is looking forward to NAB 2024 – the premier advocacy association for America’s broadcasters. The event takes place from April 13th to April 17th at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Get in touch with our partners: Adeas-Nextera, B<>com, intoPIX, Macnica Americas and ProDesign to see how they are leveraging Intel® FPGA technology to drive some real industry innovation!

Altera is hosting customer meetings at the show and will be demoing 4K Smart Camera on Agilex 5, 8k Warp, Tone Mapping Operator, 3DLUT on Agilex 7 and NDI encoder/decoder. Get in touch with Jean Michel Vuillamy or Rob Arnold to schedule your slot.

Adeas-Nextera

Nextera and Adeas’ industry-leading ST 2110/ST 2059/IPMX FPGA IP cores and NMOS control software are now available for Altera® FPGAs! The solution provides everything needed to help OEMs IP-Enable their new or existing products quickly and easily. The Nextera-Adeas cores support any resolution/frame rate/network speed and are fully modular by design, allowing customers to choose any combination of cores that meet their specific needs. Nextera-Adeas provides end-to-end reference designs for the Agilex 7 FPGA I-Series Transceiver-SoC Development Kit to enable turn-key development, with 1G/25G/100G versions available now. Design services are also available to accelerate time to market.

Visit Nextera and Adeas at the Nextera Video booth C3552 to learn more!

b<>com

b<>com *Sublima* technology provides a simple way to convert a Video content in SDR format (Standard Dynamic Range) into an HDR format (High Dynamic Range). It offers all the benefits of real-time frame-by-frame adaptive conversion techniques, without any need for manual adjustment. Based on an intelligent algorithm, this technology guarantees an optimal conversion regardless of the video content and does not require the use of metadata. It is available on Intel® Arria® 10, Intel® Cyclone® 10, Agilex 7 and Agilex 5.

Contact b<>com expert Carole Le Goff to meet up at the show!

intoPIX

intoPIX presents its latest IPX-TICO-XS & IPX-TICO-XSFIP IP cores running on Agilex 7 FPGA featuring all the power of JPEG XS standard with several innovations and the IPX-ST2110-22 Sub-Systems IP cores supporting HD, 4K, 8K in 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 up to 12-bit.

Explore the new 8K FPGA Evaluation Kit on Altera Agilex 7 FPGA, an easy way to assess the high quality, ultra-low latency, compact JPEG XS 8K video codec with HDMI2.1 interfaces.

ProDesign

Exciting news from the NAB Show! PRO DESIGN is thrilled to unveil their latest FPGA Acceleration Card, the "prodesign FALCON Stratix 10", in collaboration with manifold technologies and their groundbreaking software. Together, they are revolutionizing broadcasting technology. manifold CLOUD, paired with PRO DESIGN’s FPGA based acceleration card and Thomas-Krenn's server, delivers unparalleled live production capabilities. With features multiviewing and graphics insertion, generating a 3G or UHD mosaic as a 2110-20 stream, which is then available as a new source in the cluster. All seamlessly integrated into the FPGA, they're setting a new standard for efficiency and resilience in Tier 1 live productions. Don't miss out on the future of broadcasting!
